TODAY let us endeavor to become someone others look upon with admiration -
Striving always to be kind, just, rational, generous and dependable.
Let us relax our judgments and put ourselves in another's place
To see their side of an argument or thought.
But let us stay true to our hearts,
Remembering that sometimes, what is best for the world,
Is what we've always known:
That the real god is in all of us, reflected in the people around us.
The best in them and the worst in them
Is also in us.
Let us lend a hand, to reach out and help
When we can, comfort when we must.
