WE GIVE thanks to those who raised a voice or arms and offered their lives for the freedoms we enjoy today.
Freedom to worship or not worship, freedom to speak and write our opinions, freedom to travel where and when we want, freedom to love who we want, freedom to go about our lives.
Let us never forget those who sacrificed everything -- the young men and women who left their homes and families not knowing if they would ever see them again -- for a cause greater than themselves.
Today, if you get the chance, take a moment to thank a service man or woman in uniform. Offer a moment of quiet contemplation. A prayer to thank them for what they have given us.
