August The Fourth

EVERLASTING Father, I beseech Thee to enable me to love Thee with all my heart and soul and strength and mind, and my neighbor as myself. Help me to be meek and lowly in heart. Sweeten my temper, and dispose me to be kind and helpful to all men. Make me kind in thought, gentle in speech, generous in action - Amen.

May The Twenty-Seventh

AN ANGEL so sweet,
So pure,
So innocent.
Surely this angel must be mine.

Taking the guise of a guardian, a parent,
A grandparent,
A cherished friend.

Cautioning us to take care of ourselves,
Be good to ourselves,
Nourish ourselves.

Always thinking of us
When we are not.

What would we do without our
Friends and angels?
