IT'S been said that life's a journey,
with many paths untold.
Each path begins when we are young
and ends when we are old.
So, let me join you on your pathway.
Let me listen to your fears.
Let me laugh when there is laughter,
and cry when there are tears.
And if the pathway narrows,
or is difficult to climb.
Just wrap your arms around me,
and place your hands in mine.
And when we reach the pathway's end,
we'll gaze upon the view.
While I recount the times I've spent,
with cherished friends like you.
